MWGA18 Favorite Recipes
Here are some of our favorite recipes from Christmas parties and Year-end Events:
Ham and Cheese Party Sandwiches - Judy W
1 pkg (12) Hawaiian rolls 12 slices ham
12 slices Swiss cheese 1/2 c. butter melted
1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce 1/2 Tbs. poppy seeds
1-1/2 tbs. yellow mustard 1 Tbs. dried minced onion
Open rolls, layer with ham and cheese replace tops. Put in a 9x13 pan.
mix the remaining ingredients together and pour over the sandwiches
cover with foil for 8 hrs or overnight. Bake @ 350 deg. for 10 minutes
uncover and bake another 10 minutes.
Stuffed Dates - Judy W
2 strips bacon cooked and crumbled 1/4 c. green onions sliced
2 cloves garlic minced 1/2 c. crumbled blue cheese
3 ozs. cream cheese softened 2 tsp. dijon mustard
1/8 tsp. pepper 24 medjool dates
Mix all ingredients except dates. Slit dates and remove pits stuff each date with
a tsp. of mixture. Bake @ 350 deg. for 8 minutes until heated through, serve warm
Pomegranate Margarita Recipe - Teri R
1 can limeade (frozen) – store brand is fine
1 can Margarita Mix
1/2 can Grand Marnier or 1 can Triple Sec
1 can Tequila (Silver)
1 can beer – Coors Light is fine or whatever you have on hand
Add other flavors, e.g, Pomegranate, - start with 1/2 can – taste - add more if needed
Sugar the glass rim with extra fine sugar
